By now you all heard the news. New World has been delayed till September 28th, 2021. While an extra month might not seem like that long of a delay, for someone like myself who was extremely addicted to the game during the recent beta, a month feels like forever! Finding addiction in a game is very rare and when you have it, you simply can’t find as much enjoyment in other games until your true game of choice comes back. But therein lies the reality, we now have two months to spare to play other games to fill up our time.
Hence, I am announcing my intention of finally getting to the latest expansion of World of Warcraft called Shadowlands. Although there has been a lot of bad press lately for World of Warcraft with their ongoing legal troubles concerning harassment at the workplace, our focus is on gaming and accomplishing a goal we have stated multiple times that we wanted to achieve, that of catching up to WoW’s latest expansion. We will be doing this on a new server with a new character who will not be allowed to use heirlooms (I always disliked them tbh).
I understand that many members of my community dislike World of Warcraft but it is a game that I have always enjoyed playing. I hope we all can respect the fact that this will be a filler period of time for the channel until our true love of New World comes out. Let’s try and enjoy the journey that we will be going through with WoW and focus on good times and chat instead of negativity. Who knows, you might just want to join me and create a new character too!
